Not only are botanical gardens often perceived by the public merely for their ornamental appeal, but the plants themselves frequently outshine the very people keeping them alive. By dressing botanists in garments covered with plants, we place them on the same level of visibility as the plants themselves.
The project thus encourages reflection on the significance of botanists' work and their role in saving plant biodiversity.
